Jackie had suffered a severe compound fracture of her leg in a riding accident and was going crazy being
stuck at the ranch, so we decided to go for a short camping trip to the Mojave Preserve to check out some
mines. Unfortunately she was uncomfortable in the Toyota so we had to take our full size pickup. It was kind
of like four wheeling in a school bus. But as always we had a great time.
